Tea Lab: BATTLE OF THE BAKERS Creating Tea-Infused Desserts with Chefs Kristy Choo and Robert Wemischner Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Royal/T Part of COLLABORATIONS: the 2012 Tea Lovers Festival in Los Angeles In this tea lab, master chefs Kristy Choo of Jin Patisserie and Robert Wemischner of Cooking with Tea were faced with creating tea-infused desserts in 3 separate challenges. Each chef was given a set budget and a specific tea (matcha, jasmine and lapsang souchong) to use for each of the challenges. All tea-loving attendees were the "judges" of this competition through tasting and rating the chefs' creations, while learning to infuse their own desserts with various teas.
